Jesus used parables to help those who follow him better understand spiritual truths and to keep them hidden from those who reject him. In this parable, often called the parable of the sower, Jesus explains the different responses that people will have to the word of God. After making our way through this passage we should ask ourselves, how am I responding to God’s word? He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
