In this passage we find a man oppressed by a demon who is freed from this oppression by one who is stronger than the demon, Jesus Christ. Rather than rejoice and praise God, some of those who witnessed this miracle began to accuse Jesus of being evil. Jesus’ response to this accusation reveals much about humanity’s weakness, Satan’s strength, and that Jesus is indeed… the stronger one.
