The end times are a popular source of discussion among Christians. In America in the last 150 years or so, there has been a lot of speculation and interpretation about the end times. You can get these huge confusing charts that purport to interpret every prophecy in the Bible. But the stress of this can cause a lot of fear, not knowing, what do we need to know? Are we keeping up on current events enough?
This may have compounded for you with the events in Israel and Gaza in recent months. Maybe you have heard Christian commentators say that certain events are a fulfillment of this or that scripture, or the Bible says we must support the state of Israel no matter what, or even that they know from this when Christ will return.
