Wonderful mercy that sought us,
Wand’ring afar in the night;
Precious the Savior who brought us
Into his marvelous light
Singing love’s beautiful story,
Echo the heav’nly refrain:
Blessing and honor and glory
Be to the Lamb that was slain.
Saved to the glory of Jesus,
Saved by the pow’r of his might!
Brought from the kingdom of darkness
Into his marvelous, marvelous light!
Out from the sin and its sorrow,
Into the life pure and free;
Waiting the glorious morrow,
When our Redeemer we’ll see
Saved to the glory of Jesus,
Saved by the pow’r of his might!
Brought from the kingdom of darkness
Into his marvelous, marvelous light!
Soon we shall meet at the river,
There in sweet songs we’ll unite;
Jesus will bring us forever
Into his marvelous light.
Saved to the glory of Jesus,
Saved by the pow’r of his might!
Brought from the kingdom of darkness
Into his marvelous, marvelous light!
