In this five-week series on 1 Peter, we’re walking through a chapter a week as we explore how hope in Christ gives us the strength to live differently—set apart in holiness, anchored in something unshakable, no matter what comes our way.
As we wrap up the series with this message, we see how Peter in chapter 5 is preparing us to fight three distinct battles as young adults desiring to follow Jesus: 1) the battle of pride vs. humility, 2) the battle of anxiety vs. trust, and 3) the battle of the schemes of the Devil vs. spiritual victory.
