From Genesis to Revelation, there is one theme that occurs time and time again, there is a place called heaven where the people of God will spend eternity with God. Even though the entire Bible seems to point us toward heaven, it does not seem to be the topic of many of our conversations, it does not seem to affect our day to day life. Why is this? If the entire course of our Christian life and all of history is heading toward followers of Jesus spending eternity in heaven, what does that mean for us right now? What will it be like? What will we do there? Who will be there? We aim to answer those questions in this new series, Paradeisos (Paradise), during this 3 week series, we will look at what the Bible actually tells us about heaven and why it is so important.
In the third and final message of our series, Brent Cummings, our Young Adults Pastor, walks us through what the bible says about who exactly will in heaven. It is a question that is not as simple as it may seem at first, but the it is clear from Scripture that those who will spend forever in the perfect, glorious place called heaven will be 1) Animals, 2) Angels, 3) Believers in Jesus Christ, 4) Those under grace, and 5) God himself.
