God’s promises are much bigger than just personal blessing—they are tied to His covenant with Abraham and our calling to be a light in the world. Like the Israelites at Jericho, we learn that God’s results come when we do things God’s way while disobedience robs us, and those around us, of His blessing. Doing things His way means honoring Him with our first fruits which is foundational to living with a vision beyond ourselves so that His kingdom can expand through us.
