The fruit of the Spirit matters because character, not gifting, determines direction and impact. Love is the greatest fruit, binding every virtue together and making faith visible through action. Without love, spiritual activity loses its power; with it, people are cared for deeply and responsibly. When the Spirit forms a church into experts in love, lives are healed and God’s life spreads naturally.
