Call Out to Me

Psalm 91:15, 16

15 When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.

Do you ever feel like God is too busy to truly hear you? Or do you feel like your prayers and concerns hit the ceiling? You may feel lonely, lost and maybe even a bit frightened by how the world is today. Things used to seem so much calmer and sensible. Be encouraged today. When Jesus lives in your heart you realize nothing is out of control, for the Word of God tells us that it is He who sits on the circle of the earth, and sees all, and is in total control. He alone knows the end from the beginning and everything in between. When we lift our hearts and requests to Him, sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes it's no, and other times it is wait, it is not time for the answer to come yet. When the answer is no, that’s a harder answer to take in. We must always remember that God’s timing is not always our timing. But let’s carefully remember the promise we have for today— “When they call on Me, I will answer.” Calling upon God is done through our praying. In every time of trouble and in every circumstance—faithfully remembering He always hears you when you call on Him, and He is there with you and will always be with you, even throughout your whole life. The promise for today is for all those who trust in Him. There will always be an answer for those who truly love Him and call upon His powerful Name. In times of trouble, He will be there. Like a good father, He promises to rescue us. He never has said that we would be totally free from trouble. Trouble, danger, and death are all apart of each and every person’s life on this planet. No one is exempt, yet as His children, He has promised to always be there. Here’s where we stumble in our thinking—we must trust Him that He will do it His way because He loves us and He knows exactly the right way to help us. Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT tells us “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” say the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Abba Father will and is always with us, all throughout our lives. Keep this in the front of your thinking and His peace will abide with you throughout your entire lifetime.
