In Chapter 2, we follow the Teacher’s quest for meaning as he experiments with pleasure, wisdom, and work. “What is good for people to do under the heavens during the few days of their lives?” (Ecc. 2:3) With far more resources at his disposal than most of us will ever have, we can learn a lot from his pursuits – and their ultimate conclusion. We wrap up today’s episode by noticing the areas of our own lives where we most feel “hevel.”
