The sermon on the mount, as well as all the Kingdom teachings themselves, are a paradox. A paradox is a self-contradictory truth that is opposite of one’s expectations. Tonight, we will continue to study one of the most penetrating sections of God’s word that challenges humanity as God’s creation to renew our minds and grow.
