1. World Changing Believers
a. Believers from the Early Church (Acts 8:1-4, 11:19-20)
• This group of believers pushed geographical, cultural and religious boundaries.
• They are not well trained seminary grads, no theologians, no pastors/missionaries… they were ordinary people simply on fire for the resurrected Jesus, following Jesus’ instruction to go tell everybody. It’s that simple.
• Pandemic during Roman Empire Days – Antonine Plague (165-180AD); Cyprian Plague (249AD)- Christian believers showed their compassion by caring for the sick.
• All the believers in the everyday of life: Living in community, working in the community, sharing in the community, and changing the world.
b. RHCCC Disciples on Mission
Definition of PEACE: Ordinary people, empowered by God’s Spirit, doing what Jesus did, together, wherever they are.
