Introduction: You were made for a mission.
What is the Kingdom of God?
God’s people fulfilling God’s purposes for God’s glory (Romans 14:17)
Where is the Kingdom of God?
It’s wherever Jesus is King (Matthew 6:10)
What is mission?
Mission is extending the Kingdom of God on earth

How should our church interact with the place it is in?
1. Don’t Be Wary of the City
2. Don’t Just Use the City
3. Be For the City
a. Stay in the city (Root Down) — v. 4-5
b. Stick to your identity within the city. (Center Around) — v. 6
c. Strengthen the fabric of the city (Live For) — v. 7
