Scripture: John 15:4-12 NIV
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.—John 15:5
BIG IDEA: To bear lasting fruit, we must remain in Jesus by His Word & prayer, to love one another.
3 Steps to Bear Much Fruit:
KEY: The key to bearing fruit is to remain in Jesus (v. 4-6)
HOW: We remain in Jesus when His Word first remains in us & then we ask Him. (v. 7)
RESULT: To bear much fruit is to love one another like Jesus (v. 8-12)
Conclusion: Why should we love one another like Jesus loves us? (John 13-17)
BECAUSE LOVE & UNITY IS OUR MISSION!
