The tragedy of the world today is that it starts too near to its problems. If you want to appreciate your own country, go to another. You need a larger perspective, a distant view… The Bible does not say ‘Just come to Jesus and all will be well.’ Not at all. It starts with Genesis. It starts with creation. It want you to know and to understand why you are what you are and why God is proposing what he proposes.

Genesis Quick Facts
• Book of “Beginnings” (cosmos, humanity, Israel)

1. Revelation: We learn of God’s nature (v. 1-25)
He Creates:
• He is self-existent
• He created everything out of nothing
• He brings order to this creation
