Ecclesiastes 11:7-12:7

1. Enjoy life now because…
- Our earthly experience is short – we get to live this life only once (11:7-8).
- Our youthful vigor is passing swiftly – we can’t turn the clock back in time (11:9-10).
2. Live responsibly because…
- God is our Creator (12:1; cf. 11:9).
- Old age is unavoidable (12:2-5).
- Death is undeniable (12:6-7).
How do I enjoy life responsibly?
1. Accept the fact that life has set limits and these limits can be frustrating.
2. Death does not end it all. So settle your relationship with God and start serving Him while you are young.
3. Plan for the inevitable end and predetermine your legacy.
4. Enhance your family life and personal relationships and become part of a social or support group.
“A life without God produces a bitter, lonely, and hopeless old age.”
