Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
—Matthew 22:37
I. To love God means you do it comprehensively.
II. To love God means you do it completely.
Look at the example of the Church in Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7)
Re-entry Reality #2: It’s not where you worship, but where your heart is.
At RHCCC, our goal is to help you grow in your journey with Jesus in five areas…
WORSHIP → LOVING GOD
FELLOWSHIP → LOVING OTHERS
DISCIPLESHIP → GROW IN MATURITY
MINISTRY → SERVE GOD’S PEOPLE
MISSION → SHARE GOD’S LOVE
1. Personal space (private) is about our own spiritual journey
That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven—Daniel 2:19
Worship is not part of your life - it IS your life.
2. Social space (selective) is about going deeper with people you know
As we worship together, we believe the presence of God fills that space and blesses our neighbourhoods.
3. Public space (non-selective) is about sharing a common experience with different people.
If, therefore, the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your minds? But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all, the secrets of his heart will be laid bare, so falling on his face, he will worship God, exclaiming, ‘God is really among us’ —1 Cor. 14:24-25
Conclusion
Nothing is more terrible when you go to a church where God is absent (Rev. 2:5)
We have a Saviour and Lord who just wants our hearts. Where is yours today?
