Shaul Katzav was born in Israel and grew up attending synagogue under the leadership of learned Rabbis who taught him the lessons from the Torah. As he grew up, he questioned what was true and meaningful in life and wondered if there was more to faith than what he had studied. An unexpected meeting with a believer in Christ gave him the opportunity to read the New Testament, which became a life changing event for him as he found truth where he least expected it.
