Mark's Gospel is very quick paced. He describes the Good News of Jesus very quickly from one event to another. This week we will talk about how Mark tells the story of Jesus's baptism and goes right into the wilderness to go through temptation.
Our Christian life is like that. We celebrate when we come to Jesus but at that moment we enter into a war. Temptation and trials begin as soon as we surrender to Christ. Praise God that we have an advocate in Jesus who experienced every trial and temptation but without sin.
