This book of Daniel is about a conflict of kingdoms – the kingdom of man and the kingdom of God. In the first chapter we encounter God’s grace in the repeated phrase, “God gives...” 2, 9, 17. Each occurrence gives us some important insight about our God who is supreme over all other gods.
