A child of God does not dwell in the grip of consequence, the whim of happenstance, or the weight of circumstance. The book of Ruth teaches us that our lives are in the hands of providence.
Ruth chapter 3 is messy. The chapter contains an honest account of three people who find themselves between the horns of a dilemma. This message reminds us that God uses imperfect people, facing imperfect circumstances, making imperfect decisions to accomplish His perfect plan.
