The miraculous intervention of God whereby He seems to set aside natural law should never be seen as normative for all people in all times. Miracles occur when God’s people are threatened with extinction and God’s promise of a Messiah is at risk. These periods were marked by God’s special intervention in order to protect God’s servants and their message of a future kingdom. God’s promise is fireproof. The question today is how can I fireproof my faith?
