Discipleship Questions.
1. Why do you think the idea of a dying King would have been so unexpected for the disciples? What about our own day?
2. Mark reveals that the disciples hearts were bent on personal greatness. How does Jesus redefine our definition of “greatness”?
3. What is most challenging about “receiving children”? Who are the children that Jesus is calling you to receive?
4. Rivalry and jealousy have no place in Jesus’ Kingdom. What do you think drives our sense of rivalry or jealousy? Take some time to thank God for and to pray for some of the other churches in our community.
