In Part 2, we'll continue our series by looking at a second big reason to love the church: “Because We Get to Be a Part of It”. It’s amazing to think that when Jesus promised the church (Matthew 16:15-18) and then birthed the church (Acts 2), He did so knowing that there was so much for the church to do. As a result, He revealed His plan to give every Christian spiritual gifts to be used in strategic ways. We’ll talk about how using a passage from 1 Corinthians 12.
It’s a privilege and joy to use our gifts in the church for God and for others. And just like hearing the words from a coach on a sports team say to us, “Okay, get in the game!”, there is an excitement that comes with getting involved for those who love Jesus and His beautiful creation, the church!
