Description

Our world has faced an acute collection of needs since Adam and Eve defied God and ate of the forbidden fruit. Today, our world is continuing its dissent into what is now an obvious and serious set of needs.

Relationally, while we are in one sense closer to each other through technology, we’re living through record-high levels of relational animosity and strife in families, communities, and in the world.

Spiritually, while the number of Bibles printed are staggering, there is still a famine of hearing God’s Word to us, especially hearing and appreciating His message of the Gospel and eternal life.

Financially, while the world is abundant in food production, medical technology, and wealth, it is so unevenly distributed and uncharitably hoarded that those in need still die of hunger, disease, and utter hopelessness.

Into this present crisis, God has called the church and individuals in it to help our world so that as many people as possible are helped, God is honored, and we are filled with the satisfaction of meeting needs. While we will never fully meet every need in the world, we are called to meet some of them and we’ll learn how in this important series.
