Every year it seems stores begin promoting Christmas decorations earlier and earlier in an attempt to beat their competitors in sales. While unintended, it gets many of us thinking about Christmas and all that we hope will happen on the day of Christ’s birth. But while the anticipation for what this day and the season surrounding it will be like for us, it leaves many people unchanged and wishing for more when it arrives. The good news is that God wants us to have so much more this Christmas if we will anticipate it for what it really is. In this series, we will look at how this Christmas can fulfill all our anticipations as we look at the promises God made and kept on Christmas, and how we can seek and find the heart of Christmas through the One who was born and can satisfy us.
