In this sermon, we explore the role and significance of the Holy Spirit as part of the series titled "Foundations," which examines the core beliefs of our church. We come to understand that the Holy Spirit is not an abstract force but the third person of the Trinity, with a focus on clarifying common misconceptions about the Spirit's role in a believer's life. We learn that the Spirit glorifies Christ, convicts the world of guilt, regenerates sinners, and equips believers for Christ-like living and service. With various scriptural references, we see how the Spirit illuminates truth, guides our lives, and empowers us as believers. We are encouraged to live empowered by the Holy Spirit instead of relying solely on our own strength and are reminded of the importance of serving within our church community. Ultimately, there is a call for us to yield to the Spirit daily, suggesting that doing so will lead to transformative change and the glorification of Christ in our community.
