Jesus came to die, and He did die for all sinful men, but a dead Jesus is not enough. If the perfect, validate man who died doesn’t rise, we have no salvation. Why? Because a dead man can’t save you. Our faith would be vain because we believe in a corpse. There would be no hope beyond the grave. If Jesus had not come out of the grave, neither are we. We would be of all men most miserable, but thanks be unto God, the grave was not the end!
