After Jesus emerged from the forty days in the wilderness, the testing continued in different disguises. Satan takes advantage of anything that is close to our hearts. Jesus maintained his resolution to live by the principles he submitted to while in the wilderness. He maintained his obedience through his ministry, during the passion week and even as he hung on the cross. Because of his obedience, he became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
