In the key verse, the angel was assigned with the vial of an inkhorn to mark those who sigh and cry for those who are impacted by the bloodshed and abominations of that day and mark them. This is so relevant to what the world is going through now! We, the church, must allow our hearts to break, and cry over what breaks Father God’s heart. Surrender to “the angel” of the Lord to mark you as a beloved one, willing to be broken hearted for the atrocities. God is looking to mark the men and women who cry and sigh for fellow humanity! We must contend for the glory that is diminished throughout this land. If we want to be marked, we, the priests, must be found between the porch and the altar crying out for the deceived. This is our only hope!
