God speaks to us in metaphors. As we look at Jonathan journeying to the enemy, he had to navigate between two mountains, whose names are translated, thorn (representing our sin) and pure white linen (representing God’s mercy and salvation). We must purpose to face the “mountain” of our salvation and keep our backs turned to the pasts of our sin; embrace in our minds and hearts that we are God’s choice, saved and chosen and God’s battle strategy. God desires to use imperfect people to accomplish His perfect plan. God has settled it in His heart, now take care to settle it in yours.
