The enemy tries to defeat God’s people through tearing down and destruction; God’s people defeat the enemy through building up-that is through proclaiming the Word, which builds faith; with worship and prayer, which creates an atmosphere of love, under which the enemy cannot abide nor gain victory over us. The Kingdom is built on and through love. We are Sent Ones as we are compelled to walk in confidence because God has sent us as a sickle, thrust forth in the harvest field; there is nothing that hell can do to prevent the purpose of God from prevailing in and through our lives as we walk in harmony with God’s purpose and destiny. We have a divine assignment and walk in authority because (and only because) the Spirit empowers us to live in a way that will bring an end to the enemy.
