We’ve heard the colloquialisms: “Don’t put the cart before the horse!” and “First things first!” But somehow, we forget to apply the wisdom and guidance they teach. Pastor Shawn instructs us to pursue, abide and be faithful in the “revealed will” of God found in the Word of God. Without it, a person will be stunted and ultimately confused about their purpose and what they believe. So many pursue their “unique will” of God (the “cart”) which is their personal calling, and neglect the “revealed will” of God (the “horse”)! What they don’t know or ignore is God is developing and accomplishing unseen things within to prepare them for their unique calling! Take care that you keep first things first so that your “horse” is pulling your “cart-then your life will go places!
