When you take a look at the time Jesus spent on earth, you’ll see many, many times where he faced accusations from his enemies. When you look at the lives of the disciples, you’ll see much of the same! So why does it surprise us when we encounter false accusations at the hands of the enemies of Christ? Pastor Mark reminds us today that when we follow Christ everything doesn’t always smell like roses. Sometimes we face hardships and trials and accusations. But because you stand pure before Christ and before God, no one will be able to prove them. Take hope from knowing you’re following in the footsteps of Jesus.
