Over the next six weeks as we look at our 'Priorities' as a church. We will begin 2023 talking about 'why we exist' and especially 'what we do' as a result of our 'why.' This week we consider together what God’s Word is meant to do in our lives: as a church, as individuals, as people created in his image. The Word is how we know Him, but what does God intend for us to do with his Word? And what is lost when we do not? Psalm 19 says the Word "revives the soul" - implying we needed reviving! Rules and resolutions rarely feel life-restoring, so what are we missing? Let's begin the new year by asking God to show us the joy of "Preaching the Word" (Ps.19) into our daily lives.
