Our lifelong journey of discipleship is modeled in God's relationship with the nation of Israel. In Exodus 35, God commands Moses to have the people give toward the building of the tabernacle, a place for God's presence to dwell among them. After their journey out of slavery, through the desert, and beyond their failures, the people give generously out of God stirring their heart, knowing that His presence is what they need more than their possessions.
