Jesus issued a unique challenge that his church would look different than everything else. That we would love like no one else. That we would be so inspiring in how we love and care for each other, that others couldn't help but want to be a part of our community. Now, that's unfortunately not what we're known for. And it's hard to do because people are messy and you don't just magically and immediately become perfect and selfless once you begin following Jesus.
