Why ‘The Red Letters’?
Before there was anything else, there was the Word of God. The Word was
with God. And the Word was God. The Apostle John refers to Jesus as The
Word of God. And, as God, when Jesus speaks, God speaks.
And the words of Jesus are weighty. As His followers, we are called to bend
and fit and shape and adjust our lives to look more like the world He paints
with His words than the world we are left to live in. We are called to be
different. Set apart. Holy. Righteous. Redeemed. And we are called to be
a part of His cosmic plan that He has set into motion to restore humanity to
Himself.
Jesus has been speaking since before the beginning of time. So now, in this
moment of time, we lean in to listen … to hear … to read … to respond …
and to be forever changed. By The Red Letters.
