In a world that holds deep convictions, some of which agree with and others that are antithetical to the gospel, what are we to do? How do we enter into the conversation of deeply held ideas and convictions? Our greatest weapon is love. It is not that Christians do not hold beliefs, but if we do not have love, we are just more noisy gongs and clanging cymbals in our culture.
Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
What a witness we can be when we love.
