Walk It Out #7 (Romans 14:13-23)
How do we walk out our faith to build up the family of believers?
Romans 14:1-12 was about our attitude toward other believers.
Today’s passage is about our actions toward other believers.
Command: Don’t cause a brother or sister to stumble in their faith.
How can the strong in faith help the weak in faith not to stumble?
Limit your freedom for the sake of others.
Don’t cause another believer to do something they have a personal conviction against.
Keep your personal convictions to yourself.
Why should we not cause our brothers & sisters to stumble in faith?
We are family in Christ.
We belong to a different Kingdom.
We live for Jesus, not for self.
The Application:
1. Build others up.
2. Develop personal convictions.
