• Jesus is not just another teacher we need; Jesus alone is the ultimate hope for our souls
In spite of terrible suffering, Jesus - the Savior of the world - will fulfill God’s redemptive plan to an eternally glorious end

• When you think about the “glory of God,” what comes to mind? How does Jesus reveal the glory of God in this text?
• In what sense was Jesus changed in the transfiguration, and in what sense is He unchanged?
• How is Jesus the fulfillment of what Moses and Elijah represented?
• The message of suffering was hard to hear for the disciples. How would this scene encourage them?
• How does the command to listen to Jesus alone encourage us to see Jesus as the center of our very life?
