The fourth commandment is to "keep the Sabbath day holy." Maybe you read an old preacher who speaks of the need to keep Sabbath, though they worshiped on Sunday. You know from the Old Testament that at times God punished the Israelites for not keeping the Sabbath. You are not quite sure what to think about all this. From Gen. 2:1-3, I want to point out three key facts about the day after creation--the day God ceased from creating, so you can better understand its doctrinal and practical application for your life and better live for God’s glory.
