From Daniel 9:1-19 we encounter Daniel’s amazing prayer of confession and humble plea that the people of Israel might be restored to their land according to the promises of God made to Jeremiah the prophet. Daniel’s prayer is recorded in the pages of Scripture because it is a model prayer for all believers today.
