We are in the midst of a very important section of Scripture, especially since our text is antithetical to much of what the world is promoting. In fact, our text for this morning is possibly the single most attacked text in all of the Bible. Our text is the text the world loves to hate the most because it gives us God’s expectations for women. And the world has a very different view about women, their roles in the home, marriage, and society, than the Bible does.
