Often when people are saved by grace and delivered from the wrath of God to come, they forget that they were saved by grace, that they didn’t deserve or earn salvation. They didn’t receive God’s mercy and grace because they were wonderful or amazing people. We see the same kind of compassion, kindness, and grace, extended from God to the ancient world of very corrupt, wicked, and violent men, through Noah and the ark.
