This sermon explains why the Word of God is more sure than personal experience and is alone sufficient for life and godliness. The Bible is more sure than even the greatest God-given experience because it is inspired. Men, moved by the Holy Spirit, wrote down for us in the pages of Scripture, perfect, objective, infallible, inerrant, all sufficient truth.
We must pay attention to what the Bible teaches so that we are not deceived by experiences which can lead us astray into false doctrine, which always leads to ungodly behavior. The Bible is a more sure guide for everything pertaining to life and godliness and to equip us for every good work.
