Expository preaching seeks to accurately communicate God’s Word, apply it, and explain the doctrine, so that Christ can speak to His church, and people can understand what the Bible says and means by what it says.
People often ask me if I think expository preaching is the best way to preach. I always answer, “Yes!” Why? Because it is commanded in the Word of God. It is modeled in the Word of God. And it is confirmed by Church history.
