Description

With a lack of references to repentance, sin, and the righteousness of Christ, the "He Gets Us" ads are intentionally connecting with viewers emotionally and promoting the perception that Jesus does not require transformation. This false gospel is a threat to the millions of people who watch the commercials, potentially leading them farther away from Christ.

In this episode, Spencer Nakamura and Pastor Sam Masteller discuss how individuals who are attempting to be more loving than God are deconstructing the Bible to affirm their personal beliefs. While there are likely some individuals who are well-meaning, the fruit of the campaign is misrepresenting Christianity, calling the Truth of God's Word into question, and disunity. The best way to know the blessed path to eternity is to know God's Word and submit to it through obedience.
