During times of crisis our first instinct is rightly towards self-preservation. We have real needs and hurts. Then when the dust settles. and our safety is relatively intact, the bold go immediately back into the fray to rescue others. The passive stay back saying “someone else will do It,” or “well they didn’t ask for help, I don’t want to offend them.” In the story of the paralyzed man, we see friends who ignore the selfish temptation toward passivity and boldly bring their friend to Jesus for holistic healing. In this season so many are paralyzed in fear, addiction, stress, and isolation. God invites you to partner with Him in seeing the needs of others and bring them to the feet of Jesus for healing.
