This message is based on the fact the 5th graders are in church for their “milestone” to recite the Apostles’ Creed and take communion. Paul focused on training and mentoring the next generation. At Trinity, we call this “passing the baton.” God’s Word and God’s people make us strong. God’s Word shows the path for the best life in Christ, rebukes us when we leave that path, corrects us to get back on the path, and equips us to stay on the pathway of discipleship. The Apostles’ Creed summarizes the essential truths of our faith, giving us the foundation for our understanding and confidence in Christ. Application: A strong faith leads to a
strong life.
